Dear students,
I would like to inform you that an additional selection round has been opened and that you can now submit an internal application for the Erasmus+ programme for the summer semester of the 2026/2027 academic year (January–August 2027).
Due to the gradual digitisation of activities under the Erasmus+ programme, there are two different types of application depending on the type of mobility you are interested in: an application for a study placement and an application for a work placement, as set out below. The deadline for applications for study placements is 15 September 2026, and for work placements it is 31 October 2026.
Under the ERASMUS+ programme, you have two main options for study abroad: 2 základní možnosti výjezdů:
1) Study placements at JAMU’s partner institutions
- Duration: 2–12 months; shorter mobility periods of 5–30 days are only available to PhD students;
- It can also be carried out in the form of blended mobility (a physical visit combined with a virtual component);
- You can only study at partner institutions with which JAMU has a bilateral agreement; a list of these institutions is available here.
- You can find more information on Erasmus+ study placements here.
- The deadline for applications is 15 September 2026.
The APPLICATION FOR A STUDY STAY is submitted via the ISOIS application (an add-on to the IS) and the procedure is as follows:
1. Register in the system ISOIS.
2. Please complete the application form for a study period abroad (programme title: ‘ERASMUS 2026/2027 (Study Mobility for Studies) – SUMMER SEMESTER’)- link to the application.
3. To successfully submit your application, you must agree to the following GDPR agreement in IS.
Notes on the application:
- If you wish to apply to more than one institution, select more than one institution (up to a maximum of 3 in a single application).
- If you cannot find your preferred institution in the list of schools, please contact the International Office DF JAMU (riou@jamu.cz, tel.: 542 59 1305 nebo 605 221 431). The list does not include non-partner schools or partner schools outside the EU (e.g. in the UK).
- You must enclose with your application the signed forms for the statement from the studio head/supervisor and the foreign language teacher; both can be found in the appendix.
2) Training (including graduate placements)
- Duration: 2–12 months (shorter mobility periods of 5–30 days are only available to PhD students)
- It can also be carried out in the form of blended mobility (a physical visit combined with a virtual component)
- This can be carried out at almost any foreign institution, with the exception of EU institutions and organisations managing EU programmes
- JAMU does not have any partner organisations for work placements; however, there are various databases that can be used to search for placements. The Faculty of Arts recommends taking a look at:
- Final reports by students of the Faculty of Drama at JAMU stored in IS.
- Final reports by students from other Czech universities stored in the national database.
- European database for finding work placements.
- Placements can also be undertaken during the summer holidays in almost any country in the world (placements outside the EU, the EEA, Turkey, Serbia and North Macedonia are possible to a limited extent; please be aware of possible visa requirements in these cases, including for the United Kingdom).
- Graduate training internships – the information set out above applies to these. This type of internship must be undertaken and completed within one year of graduation. All documentation relating to the internship must be finalised whilst the applicant still holds student status.
- You can find more information on Erasmus+ work training here.
APPLICATIONS FOR WORK PLACEMENTS must be submitted using the form available here. You must attach to your application the signed forms from the studio head/supervisor and the foreign language teacher; both can be found in the attachment.
