The Academic Senate of the Theatre Faculty of JAMU (AS DF) is a self-governing representative academic body consisting of nine members, namely six teachers and three students.
Members of the AS are elected by direct election with secret ballot for a period of three years. Meetings of the DF AS are held at least once a month and are publicly accessible to all members of the academic community.
By law, the Academic Senate discusses and approves important documents that help ensure the operation of the Faculty, such as the financial budget, the strategic plan for educational and creative activities, the annual activity report and the annual management report, among others. An important mission of the Senate is to represent the interests of the academic community and to address the suggestions coming from its members, i.e. students, teachers and staff of the Faculty of Theatre.
