Musical Acting

The field of musical acting was established at JAMU in 1990 and since then it has been responding to current developments in the staging of musical works. The teaching is continuously expanded with new disciplines to meet the current requirements of musical theatre. Students gain knowledge of the history and present of theatre, develop the ability to reflect and analyse acting techniques and learn their creative application in practice. The study culminates in a graduation performance at the Orlí Theatre or Marta Studio. Teaching takes place in three separate studios, the methodology of which is determined by the personality of the lead teacher.
This is a full-time , non-sequential master’s degree; no previous university education is required.
