Dance and Movement Theatre and Education

For the academic year 2026/2027 this specialisation is not open.

The admission process tests artistic talent, movement skills, creativity, cultural awareness and motivation to study.

The admission procedure is usually two rounds. The first round takes place without the participation of the applicant – the committee evaluates the materials sent (a proposal for a pedagogical and artistic project, proof of knowledge of a foreign language). The second round takes place in person and includes a practical exam in dance techniques (classical, modern, folk dance), a test of movement creativity and improvisation, a test of general cultural awareness and an interview on the project.
In addition, knowledge of art history, theatre and basic music theory, creative thinking and the ability to do creative pedagogical work are also assessed.

The applicant should provide evidence of experience (pedagogical or artistic) – e.g. leading an interest group, amateur ensemble, internship or work in a dance studio.
